Nicole

A simple title for a not so simple photo.

This has got the be my favourite out of all portraits that I have taken to date. Again it's pretty Nicole. I think I like photographing her so much because she's so damn pretty that it makes my job as photographer easy. And her personality is easy to make come out in photos.

This is what happens when I try to take a photo in the style of my friend, Dave. He's got an awesome ability to capture emotions and personality.

And, yes, I admit that this photo is edited. Colour correction, gaussian blur, and some airbrushing to minimize pores. I still don't know if I think that photo editing like this is a lie or not. I'm working on figuring that out. If the camera could've been set up to get these results, does editing instead count as cheating? If I'm honest about it, does that make a difference? If I only do minor changes and only alter things that are temporary (such as blemished), does this make editing a smaller offense? Does this concept apply to non-people photos at all? Hm. It's something to think about.
